I'm Z, a full-stack web developer and design engineer based in the enchanting Pacific Northwest. I build clean, secure, accessible websites for small businesses and creators who want control over their digital tools, not another subscription.
I design fast, static sites with frameworks like Astro, automate deployment with GitHub Actions, and build in CRM systems that track funnels and client relationships. Your data staying under your control is a core part of my philosophy.
A decade in healthcare taught me that security and reliability aren't negotiable. That's the baseline for everything I build.
Most web platforms are built to extract data first and serve users second. I build the opposite way: open source over proprietary lock-in, plain infrastructure you can inspect over black boxes you have to trust, and automation that works for you.
When I'm not in a kitty terminal window, you'll find me putzing around in my garden, reading, sharpening knives, or backpacking through the forests of the Pacific Northwest.
